While we were out for our day trip to Whitehorse Trail and Fortson Mill last October, we visited the Oso Slide Memorial, where the tragic 2014 mudslide occurred in Oso, Washington.

There were beautiful tributes to the community of Steelhead Haven, who had so suddenly lost everything on the morning of March 22nd, 2014.

It has been over six years since the landslide took place, but one can still sense the impact it had on the community while standing among the many tributes placed there. We were able to capture a few shots of the collapsed hillside and the memorials placed in loving memory of homes and families lost.
